Elaina Buzzell is the Manager of Advancement Systems & Analytics, serving as the primary steward of Advancement data integrity, Salesforce operational functionality, and fundraising reporting infrastructure at XPRIZE. She partners closely with fundraisers and leadership to make sure fundraising data is accurate and reliable — so the people closest to donors can spend less time wrangling data and more time building relationships.

Before working at XPRIZE, Elaina worked as a Salesforce consultant, where she mastered figuring out not just what a system  can do, but what an organization actually  needs  it to do. Elaina helped her clients evaluate their needs, prioritize what mattered most, and guide them through building their solutions. In addition to guiding clients through implementing Salesforce-integrated marketing solutions, she also designed a repeatable Health Check that allows for quick diagnosis of marketing-automation issues and prioritizes the action items. Throughout her career, whether she's untangling a legacy system or building one from scratch, Elaina's focus stays on the people who'll actually use it, not just the system itself.

Elaina holds a bachelor's degree in English and Religious Studies from the University of Iowa. Elaina lives in Minneapolis where she's often found biking around with her spouse and son. In her spare time, she plays bassoon in her community band, where she also serves as a board member.
